  1. Closing any road is a good thing, but I’d rather close current logging roads than old ones.

    In the 1980s, Earth First!er Jasper Carlton used to close roads on his own in Montana when he lived there. He told me that a ranger came to his house once and told him, hey, you can’t just close roads! We need more people like Jasper.
