Dear Wild Ones,
Thanks to everyone—particularly our members, allies, and funders—for making 2024 Eco-Integrity Alliance’s greatest year yet! While still slowly growing like a tree in a forest, we’ve made outstanding progress on our mission to unite the U.S. grassroots environmental movement through common campaigns of mutual support.

Right now, and moving into 2025, our focus remains on our primary campaign of FORESTS, WILDFIRE & CLIMATE, which has gone forward in leaps and bounds.
Some of our ongoing and expanded work in 2024:
-Grassroots organizing at the local, state, regional, and national levels
-Media campaign
-Strategy and action with allied environmental groups
-Interfacing with elected officials
-Pressure on government agencies
-Blog, newsletter, podcast, and social media
All this through primarily volunteer efforts and only a fraction of the funding of even the smallest nonprofit organizations.
While Eco-Integrity Alliance welcomes members to launch new campaigns, right now there are three main reasons why we’re dedicated to fighting tens of millions of acres of “fuel reduction” logging across our biodiverse, carbon-storing public forests (while advocating for actual community protection from wildfire through home hardening and prevention of human ignitions):
- It’s one of the largest onslaughts on the natural world we’ve seen in decades.
- It’s fallen beneath the radar of most environmental groups and the media.
- It’s still early enough to stop it from spreading across the West, the rest of the U.S., and ultimately worldwide.
Naturally, the scale and scope of the threat to our forests, the cunning propaganda we’re up against, the lack of media coverage, and limited engagement (or even support of the logging!) from much of the mainstream environmental movement, means we certainly have our work cut out for us.
But that’s what’s different about Eco-Integrity Alliance. We’re not focused on the simplest, most popular, or easiest to fund campaigns. Instead, we go where we’re needed, and do what we need to do to get the work done.
None of this could be happening without members, especially our State Advocates and Steering Committee. But the amount of time and effort required to move this campaign forward was also made possible with support from our generous foundation funders: Fund for Wild Nature, New-Land Foundation, Locke Foundation, Ben and Jerry’s Foundation, and others.
But for Eco-Integrity Alliance to keep going strong through 2025, we need your help.
If you’re a current member (with voting rights and open invite to our monthly member calls) now is the perfect time to re-new for 2025. If not yet a member, why not join today? Otherwise, if you support our work, we ask you to please consider a tax-deductible gift before the end of the year.
